Jonathan Craig

Jonathan Craig studied medicine at Otago University in New Zealand, graduating MBChB in 1986. After two years of general medical residency, he started training in paediatric medicine at Christchurch Hospital and came to Australia in 1992 for completion of his FRACP. He subsequently trained in paediatric nephrology and spent three years also training in clinical research methodology as applied to urinary tract infection in children. He completed his PhD and Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) in 1997.

From 1996 to 1997 he went to Toronto for further paediatric nephrology training and returned to the Children's Hospital in 1997 as a staff specialist in nephrology and a senior lecturer in clinical epidemiology in the Department of Public Health and Community Medicine, University of Sydney.

His research interests are randomised controlled trials, systematic reviews and diagnostic test evaluation, applied to a variety of content areas, including urinary tract infection in children. He is married to a teacher and has three children.He is married to a teacher and has three children.
