Gail Higgins

Gail Higgins completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Library Science from Kuringai College of Advanced Education.

She has worked as a Teacher Librarian, spent 3 years with the NSW TAFE Information Systems Division and in 1994 joined the University of Sydney Library as Pharmacy Librarian, and then Internet Training Librarian.

She joined the Cochrane Renal group in 2001 and since then has also worked as a Trials Search Coordinator for the Cochrane Haematological Malignancies Group in Cologne, Germany, and the Cochrane Cancer Network in Oxford, UK. In 2007/8 she worked for six months with the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (ICTRP) project at the World Health Organisation in Geneva, Switzerland.
