Cochrane Renal Group

Developing a title

Once you think you would like to undertake a Cochrane Renal Group review, please notify the Editorial Base of a topic area you are interested in.

They will assist you in formulating your idea into a title that fits within the scope of the group and doesn’t overlap with any existing titles.

You will then be asked to complete a Title Registration Form [Word version]

The Cochrane Collaboration has a set format for titles described below.

When your title has been approved by the editorial office, you will be assigned a unique identifier. Your registered title is then circulated to all other Review Group Coordinators (RGC) to ensure there is no crossover.

If you discover that your idea for a review is already being addressed, you may be able to collaborate with them or develop an alternate idea.

This chapter indicates the methods and layout of a Cochrane review: reviews must conform to the specifications outlined in this section. You can read and/or download either this Chapter or the entire handbook from the Cochrane Collaboration web site at http://www.cochrane.org/resources/handbook/index.htm
